Mrs. Evelyn Long Russ, 89, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died June 27, 2012 in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church in Cochran, Ga. with the Rev. Tim Lamb officiating.Interment will be in Bowers Cemetery.
Mrs. Russ was a native of Warsaw, South Carolina and a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cochran, Ga.She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Ned Holland Russ of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sons, Rev. Wesley Russ of Bettsville, Maryland, Rev. Richard S. Russ of Cocoa, Florida and Ned Russ of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Deanna Boone of Freeport, Florida and Angela Tilton of Georgetown, South Carolina.; brothers, Venning Long of Sumter, South Carolina and Dennis Long of Ocala, Florida.; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. before the service.
The family requests that donations be made to Hospice Care Options: 718 Legion Drive, Eastman, Ga. 31023.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
