Forrest A. Pierson

Forrest A. "Frosty" Pierson, 69, of Hawkinsville, GA, and Montpelier, IN. passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2024, at his residence in Hawkinsville, GA. He was born on Saturday, April 17, 1954, in Marion, IN. Frosty was a 1972 graduate of Blackford High School. He worked as a horse trainer and groomer. He had worked for several stables in Jersey, Florida, Georgia, and Indiana. Some of those included working for Ron Otto, Roger Culliphar, and at Hoosier Park in Anderson. Frosty lived in Anderson, IN. in the summer months and in Hawkinsville, GA. in the winter months. In the 1970's he owned Frosty's in Montpelier. Frosty enjoyed horse racing and fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his Nieces - Annette (Rocky) Loney, Montpelier, IN, Toni (Ray) Dishman, Montpelier, IN, Roma J. Cravens, FL, Nephews - Paxton (Michele) Ryan, New Jersey, Charles (Angie) Hunt, Toledo, OH, James (Ashley) Hunt, Toledo, OH, and several Great Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Forrest Pierson, Mother - Roma (Calender) Shackleford, Brother - Cameron Cravens, Sister - Carol Cravens, Brother - James Work, Sister - Donna Ryan, Brother - Michael Pierson, Brother - Patrick Pierson, and Sister - Linda Doyle.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
