Franklin Delano Dixon
November 24, 1933 — January 22, 2014
Mr. Dixon was a native of Laurens County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.Frank loved life and his church family.He liked to spend time in the outdoors.He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Alma Dixon; sister, Joyce Dixon and a son, Deryk Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Grace H. Dixon of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Don Dixon of Montrose, Ga. and sisters, Dorothy Cullens of Dublin, Ga. and Jo Bradley (Gerald) of Centerville, Ga.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Faith Sunday School Class of Broad Street Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Whiggum, Robert Owens, Mike Carr, Larry Dunaway, Larry Garrett and Drew Davis.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the Broad Street Baptist Church Building Fund, p.o. box 415, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
