Fred Vaughn Joiner Jr.

Fred Vaughn Joiner Jr., age 80, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence.  A Private graveside service will be held for family only, Monday, July 29,2024 at Riverside Cemetery on Fred Joiner Road. The family will receive friends at 163 Fred Joiner Road, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.

Fred was born in Meigs, Georgia and a member of the Baptist faith.  He was a metal fabricator and a 32nd degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Vaughn Joiner Sr. and Elaine Carter Joiner and a grandson, Christian Vaughn Joiner.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Collins Joiner of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Fred Vaughn (Cathy) Joiner III “Tripp”; daughters, Julie (Tony) Sapp, Mary Jane Joiner and Laura (Shannon) Crabb;  sister, Mary Elaine Joiner Ferguson of Apopka, Florida; grandchildren, Jordan (Ashley) Sapp, Erin (Dailan) Hughes, Sydney (Dustin) McCall, Christopher (Anna) Dupree, Tierra Dupree, Earl (Kayla) Dupree, Amber (Ben) Johnson, Meredith and Michael Joiner, Jacob Joiner, Laney and Price Crabb; great grandchildren, Joiner, Tate, Brayden, Malakhi, Ava, Tucker, Brooklyn, Conner, Maeve and Rypton.
