Fred Wynne, 81, lived an uncomplicated and honorable life. He passed away with his wife of 59 years beside him feeling every breath and hearing every heartbeat to their peaceful end.
He was born in Pulaski County to the late Tillet Furney Wynne and Lillia Belle Stewart Wynne. He retired from Robins Air Force Base, traveled extensively in his work, making lifelong friends. Especially dear to him were his old coworkers from GEEIA, his classmates of 1952, his golfing buddies and neighbors. He enjoyed golfing with his friends, fishing with his old dog and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his siblings – J.T., Christine, Bob, Charlie, Merritt and his parents. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and childhood sweetheart, Dot; daughter, Beverly (Mike) Metcalf; son, Dean (Charlene) Wynne; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hawkinsville. On October 18, 2015 there will be a visitation from 1:30p.m. - 2:50p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville with a memorial service to follow at 3p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
