Frederick Morgan Liggett, Jr., age 80, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died April 8, 2009 at his residence.Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hawkinsville with Rev. John Walker and Rev. Dr. Gary Abbott officiating.Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Maytha Mays Liggett of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Corlyss (Cengiz) Okar of Lawrenceville, Ga.; Son, Fred (Cathy) Liggett, III of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Sherrie Smith, Christina Floyd, Stephen Vilcot, Corey Vilcot and Robby Liggett; 8 great-granchildren.

Mr. Liggett was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.He was an electrical contractor andretired from Army National Guard having served 29 years and 3 months. He also was a 50 year member of Mt. Hope Masonic Lodge and was an assistant Scout Master.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Ga.
