Gabe L. Folds, age 80, of Pineview, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 atThe Oaks Community Church in Pineview, Georgia with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating. The family will greet friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, October3, 2017 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Pineview, Georgia.
Gabe was born in Pulaski County on December 12, 1936 to Gabe and Lilly Folds, Sr. Mr. Folds was a United States Navy Veteran and spent many years as a self-employed farmer. He also retired from Middle Georgia EMC and the Pulaski County School Bus Association. Gabe was a member of The Oaks Community Church in Pineview, Georgia.
Mr. Folds is survived by his wife, Ophelia Folds of Pineview, Georgia; daughters, Debra (Don) Williford of Pinehurst, Georgia and Pam (Jason) Phelps of Memphis, Tennessee. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
