George Gerald Whittaker, Sr.

George Whittaker, 84, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Oct. 5, 2008 in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 8, 2008 in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla, Ga. with Bryan Whittaker officiating.

Mr. Whittaker was a native of Livingston County, New York.He was of the Catholic Faith.Mr. Whittaker was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Whittaker; son Jerry Whittaker and step daughter, Janet (Lee) Bryant all of Hawkinsville, Ga. and nine grandchildren.
