Mr. Glenn Wendell Meadows, 84, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Savannah, Ga.A private family memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Meadows Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Gary Abbott officiating.
Mr. Meadows was a native ofBleckley County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith.He was a retired farmer.He was very involved with the FFA in High School.Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Paul O. and Lola Pearl NeSmith Meadows; two daughters, Lana Meadows and Leah Meadows; Siblings, Elizabeth Bollinger, James Devere Meadows, Audrey Abrams and Charles Meadows.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanie M. Meadows, Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Lola M. King (Karl) of Savannah, Ga.; grandsons, Bryan Ethan Tanner (Jerica), Colby Glenn Tanner, Dillon Brice Tanner; great-granddaughters, Jocelyn Tanner and Sawyer Tanner.
The family will receive friends at the Meadows' residence.
