Grace Hickman Dixon

Grace Hickman Dixon, age 84, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, March 9, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Westview Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Teutsch officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the social hall at Westview Baptist Church. Burial will be held privately at the family plot in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Grace was born and raised in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Olin and Lizzie Mae Carr Hickman. After High School she attended and graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. She went on to have a career at Robins Air Force Base as a civil servant and retired after 20 plus years of service. Mrs. Dixon was a liver transplant survivor and because of this was an avid supporter of the Mayo Clinic. She had a heart for missions and seized every opportunity to go on any that were planned. Grace was an active member of Westview Baptist Church and was well loved and cherished by those who knew her. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dixon and her son, Deryk Reynolds.

Those left to forever cherish her memory include her sister, Clara Kutches of Hawkinsville and her cousin and caretaker, Barbara Boyd. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
