Hazel Bowen Miller, 90, went to Heaven in the early morning hours of April 16, 2015, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, with her loving husband by her side.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Clark Funeral Home, 142 Commerce Street, in Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Gary Abbott and Dr. Don McClung officiating.
Hazel was born on August 24, 1924 in Dodge County to the late Dovie Lou Spires Bowen and Charley Frazier Bowen.She was a retired employee of Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.She was a lady of strong faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.A dedicated member of the Hawkinsville Civitan Club for 23 years, she always did everything she could to help the people in the community of Hawkinsville and Pulaski County.Her love and devotion to Civitan was never ending as shown by her recruitment of a new member to the Hawkinsville club just four days before she passed away.Her family meant the world to her and she cherished every moment she spent with them.
She is survived by her loving husband, James E. Miller of Hawkinsville; children; Michele Miller of Warner Robins, Patricia Moore (Gene) of Hawkinsville, and Linda Lane (Ronnie) of Hawkinsville; grandchildren, Lisa Haslam (David) of Warner Robins, Jeff Miller (Jeannie) of Hawkinsville, Natascha Mohan (Shishir) of Houston, Texas, Eric Lane of Oglethorpe, Michael Azzolin (Stephanie) of Bishop and Robert Moore (Courtney) of Hawkinsville; 14 great-grandchildren.
The family is located at 1499 Unadilla Highway, Hawkinsville.
