Hester M. Wellman, age 81, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held at Browndale Cemetery, 747 Burnt Bridge Rd., Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036 at 1p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 with Rev. Steve Galloway officiating.
Mrs. Wellman was a native of Ft. Gay, West Virginia and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was an inspector for Leshner Mills in Hawkinsville, Georgia for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Gordon Wellman of Vienna, Georgia, Brandon Wellman of Warner Robins, Georgia and Brian Wellman of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughters, Verna Register of Cochran, Georgia, Kathy Wellman of Vienna, Georgia, Deborah Belflower of Waynesboro, Georgia, Velonda Simpson of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Robin Galloway of Cochran, Georgia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
