Hilder L. Williams, 64, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the Clark Funeral Home chapel with Rev. L. T. Logue officiating.Burial will be in Carter Cemetery in Adrian, Ga.
Mr. Williams was a native of Dodge County, Ga. and a member of Babb Pentecostal Holiness Church of Hawkinsville.He was a member of the Fat Boys Club.Hilder was preceded in death by a son, David Williams and grandson, Blake Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mimbs Williams of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Bobby (Dot) Williams of Dublin, Ga.; daughter, Julie Williams of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, A. J. Williams (Carolyn) of Eastman, Ga. and Rodney (Jenny) Williams of Thomasville, Florida.; sisters, Ann (Joe) Fowler of Cadwell, Ga., Judy (Lonnie) Upshaw of Cadwell, Ga., Debbie (Phil) Phillips of Macon, Ga., Arlene (Todd)Wingoof Ft. Valley, Ga., Cheryl Ray of Ft. Valley, Ga., Nikki (Edward) Mosley of Lizella, Ga.; grandchildren, Harley Williams, Davey Williams, Savanna Williams, Beth Williams, Jordan Thompson, John Williams, Catlin Williams, Annie Grace Williams, Justin Williams, John Wesly Williams and Jonathan Williams; one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Thompson, David Williams, John Williams, Jr., Deke Justice, Jack Upshaw and Danny Palahniuk.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
