Horace English

Mr. Horace English, age 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his residence in Houston County. A memorial service will be held at County Line Baptist Church at 2p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 with Rev. N.B. Goss officiating.

Mr. English was born on June 12, 1948 to the late Jesse and Hazel Rucker English. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. Horace enjoyed farming, coon hunting and fishing. Mr. English was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane English; brothers, Tim English and Randy English; sisters, Jean Chapman, Geraldine Bowen, Ann Cole and one son, Jesse Shane English.

Those left to forever cherish his memory include his son, Will English; Bradley Phelps; brothers, Shorty English and Raymond English; sisters, Dale Barlow, Peggy Hodge and Amy Cross; grandchildren, Jesse English, Dakota English and Cheyenne English. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
