Mr. Proffitt was a native ofHouston County, Ga. and a member of Hawkinsville First Baptist Church.He was a tint technician.He had lived most of his life in Hawkinsville.Ian was a loving son, father, brother and uncle.
Survivors include his father, Ray Proffitt of Hawkinsville, Ga.; mother, Elizabeth Proffitt of Hawkinsville, Ga.; wife, Elizabeth B. Proffitt of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Payton Proffitt of Maryland; daughters, Taylor Raye Proffitt, Madison Elizabeth Proffitt, Megan Grace Proffitt, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Jennifer Proffitt Gills (Michael) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Ryan Proffitt (Susan) of Warner Robins, Ga.; nephews, Caleb and Cody Barnett of Hawkinsville, Ga., Gannon Proffitt of Warner Robins, Ga.; nieces, Teryn Barnett and Elizabeth Proffitt of Warner Robins, Ga.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. before the service begins.
