Ira Lee "Junior" Johnson
January 26, 1933 — April 16, 2021
Mr. Johnson was a native of Wheeler County, Ga. and a member of Babb Pentecostal Church of Hawkinsville.He was retired from Robins Air Force Base.Ira was a member of the Army National Guard, former member of the Hawkinsville Fire Department and a Justice of the Peace.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Lee Johnson, Sr. and Ruby Lee Brady; Helen Jones and Janice Buice and brother, Tony Brady. He loved everyone and would help anyone.
Survivors include his son, Chris Phelps (Cindy) of Eastman, Ga.; daughters, Katherine Waters of Hawkinsville, Ga., Frances Pate (Danny) of Byron, Ga., Alecia Leavens(Buddy) of Hawkinsville, Ga., Iris Lee Holder of Hawkinsville, Ga., Wendy Haley (Thad) of Eastman, Ga., 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and his companion Dog, Bill.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
