Jack Leon Mays, 49, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on November 19, 2012 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating.
He was a native of Pulaski County and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a mechanic for Turbo Truck Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Mr. Mays enjoyed many things but loved to fish.
Survivors include his spouse, Tonya Mays; son, Stephen Mays of Hawkinsville, Georgia; step-sons, Shawn Chambers and Zachary Hooks; grandson, Bentley Chambers; brother, John L. Mays of Pokemoke, Maryland and his sister, Robin Fountain of Hawkinsville, Georgia. He is also survived by his nieces Laurie Mays and Lacie Woods; nephew, Edward Crumley He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Mays, Sr.; mother, Mary Elizabeth Sapp and brother, Mikel Mays.
The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
