James Edwin Arnold

James Edwin Arnold, age 79, died March 7, 2023 at his residence in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with visitation being from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. before the service. Burial will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Rayford Walker, Rev. Vernon Hughes, and Tony Arnold will be officiating with Rev. Neil Bridges officiating at the cemetery.

Mr. Arnold was a native of Pulaski County and a member of Bellview Holiness Church.  He was retired from Schwerman Trucking Co. with over three million accident-free miles driven.  He served in the United States Navy.  Ed loved his church, animals, people and he loved RC airplanes.  He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Lyman and Stella Lee Conner Arnold; brothers, Marvin Arnold and Thelbert Arnold; great grandchild, Kolt Carter; and three special nephews, Michael, Anthony and Randal Arnold as well as others.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Arnold of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son Tony Arnold (Sheila) of Moultrie, Ga.; Daughter Nita Morris (Steven) of Ellabell, Ga.; Brother, Jimmy Arnold; grandchild, Ashlei Carter (Tyler) and great-grandchildren, Stetson Carter and Noah Carter.
