Rev. James M. Criswell, 90, ofConyers, Ga. died Sunday, September 27, 2009 in Westbury Nursing Home in Conyers.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 atMt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pineview, Ga. with Rev. Rick Jenovese (grandson), Rev. Dwight Bishop, (nephew) and Dr. Joe Bufford officiating.Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.

Rev. Criswell was a native of Bibb County, Ga. and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.He served as pastor for over 20 years at several churches in Georgia and was an Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korea.He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche B. Criswell.

Survivors include daughter, Lois M. France of Covington, Ga.; son, James M. Criswell, Jr. of Lawrenceville, Ga.; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Wallace Criswell of Conyers, Ga.; 2 sisters-in-law, Sara Joe Greene of Conyers, Ga. and Lillian Criswell of Cartersville, Ga.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Harvey, David Rhodes and Bobby Keen.

Pallbearers will be Dave Maeurer, Cedric McCall, Grover Stone, Tyler Keen, Gabe Folds and Ronnie Barentine.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
