James Everette Floyd, Jr.

Mr. James Everette Floyd, Jr., age 55, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully in his wife’s loving arms on Thursday, July 11, 2024.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024 with visitation to start from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. before the service in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.

Jamie was a native of Laurens County, Georgia and a member of the Prospect Church of Twiggs County, Georgia.  He was a self-employed carpenter.  He loved to go FISHING and watch Nascar.  James was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Phyllip Floyd; parents, James “Rat” Floyd and Helen Grace Googe; brother, Joey Williams; niece, Joesi Williams; mother and father-in-law, Ben Carroll and Phyllis Proffitt.

Survivors include his wife, Angi Floyd of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughter, Samantha Grace Morgan (Dustin) of Cochran, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Guy Easterling of Hawkinsville, Georgia; first cousin, Darlene Floyd of Twiggs County, Georgia; aunt Thelma Floyd of Twiggs County, Georgia and several other family members; grandchildren, Charlie Marie Howell, Cayden Lanier Howell and Casper Lee Howell.

Family and friends will gather at 26 Robin Hood Avenue, Hawkinsville, Georgia.
