James Hubert Shelton

Mr. James Hubert Shelton, 90, of Perry, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Services will be private for family only.

Mr. Shelton was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and a member of Freewill Baptist Church of Perry.  He was retired maintenance supervisor having worked at Kellwood Company in Perry, Georgia.  James enjoyed wood working projects after his retirement.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmus and Jessie Shelton; two brothers, David Shelton and Bill Shelton; two sisters, Jean Ferguson and Thelma Layfield.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 60 years, Carolyn Shelton; son, James Hubert Shelton, Jr. (Dottie); daughter, Cindy Woodard (Randy); son, James Hullen Shelton (Dianne); grandson, Christopher Woodard (Jennifer); 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Curtis, Joey and Tommy Shelton.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to your favorite charity.
