James King Laidler

James King Laidler, age 74, died March 17, 2023 at his residence in Hawkinsville, Georgia. The family will hold a memorial service at 11a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the family plot at Orange Hill Cemetery. Mr. Laidler was a native of Pulaski County and a member of the Baptist Faith. James was an Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, he loved his cars and watching old westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents William Hardy and Beulah Wiggins Laidler, and sister, Beulah Laidler McLeod. Survivors include special friend/companion Ann Childs; his sons, Christopher James Hardy Laidler(Stephanie), Rick Williams (Cindy) and John Laidler; daughters, Shannon Dykes (Jamie), Isabel Laidler and Candi Faye (John); sisters, Billie Hayes and Mary Dunagan, and Olin McLeod; 7 grandchildren, Hanna, Megan, Shay Dykes, Tristen, JP, Abigail Laidler and Robbie Ball, several nieces and nephews.
