Allen Lewis Sr.

Mr. James Allen Lewis Sr., 73, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away at his residence Sunday, July 9, 2023.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Steven McKuhen and Rev. James Alexander officiating.

Mr. Lewis was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  He was a retired owner and operator of a trucking company.  Allen loved Nascar racing and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Slim” Lewis and Charlotte Howard Lewis.

Survivors include his son, Allen “Bubba" Lewis, Jr. (Angie); daughters, Tonji Lewis (Tim), Monica Smith (Randy), Jennifer Blankenship (Whitney Lancaster), Charla Durden.; sisters, Joyce Sutton, Shelby McKuhen (Steve); grandchildren, Tyler Wynne (Nicole), Logan Smith (Christopher), Kaylee Dokey, Christi Dokey, Brandon Smith, Sam Lancaster, Cat Lancaster, Drew Lancaster, Mazzie Blankenship, Slate Judd and Naomi Judd; 1 great-grandchild, Zaylee Newman; 5 nephews and 1 great-nephew.
