James Herman McLeod, Jr., age 52, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on February 18, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. McLeod will be held at 2p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia with Rev. Tracy Mays officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
James was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Edith Hobbs McLeod and James Herman McLeod, Sr. He was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Browndale Baptist Church in Pulaski County. Mr. McLeod formerly worked for the Pulaski County School System for many years.
He is survived by his aunt, Mary Faye Wynne of Cochran, Georgia; Uncle, James Hobbs of Cochran, Georgia; Cousins, Marie (Mickey) Murphy of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Glenda Calhoun of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and David Wynne, III of Cochran, Georgia.
