James Dennis Passmore, age 73 of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on September 22, 2018 at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. Passmore will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Georgia with Rev. Joe Maynard officiating. The family will greet friends at the residence of Mrs. Tyine Scarborough, 188 Commerce Street in Hawkinsville from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Sunday night.
James was born on October 1, 1945 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Joe and Minton Passmore. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor of the street and sanitation divisions with the City of Hawkinsville. Mr. Passmore enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and hunting.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his son, James Thomas Passmore of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughter, Sharon Denise Passmore Foskey of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brother, Joe (Jean) Passmore of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sisters, Jenelle (Rufus) Stokes, Josephine Coleman, Tyine Scarborough all of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Billie Faye Cranford of Cochran, Georgia and Nickie (Alan) Morrow of Cordele, Georgia; grandsons, James Tyler Passmore and Conner Wyatt Passmore both of Hawkinsville, Georgia.
