James Wade Roberts

Mr. Roberts was born in 1947 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Henry and Christine Roberts. James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He later went on to be an aircraft painter and supervisor at Robins Air Force Base. James was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Christine Roberts, Sr.; brother, Henry W. Roberts, Jr.; son, Earl Langston and his grandson, Stevie Lewis.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Joanne Roberts of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sons, Alvin (Shellie) Roberts of Hawkinsville, Ga. and James Wade (Tammy) Roberts, Jr. of Elko, Ga.; daughters, Kimberly (Ron) Knight of Hawkinsville, Ga., Donna Cooler of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Julie McCrary of Leesburg, Ga.; sisters, Janice (Ralph) Bovee of Hawkinsville, Ga., Elaine (Danny) Kilgore of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Pat (Felton) Floyd of Conyers, Ga. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
