Mr. James Coleman Thompson, 82, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville.A celebration of lifewill be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the residence of Deborah and Elton Reneau at 11 Tarver Avenue, Hawkinsville, Ga.
Mr. Thompson was a native of Laurens County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith.He was a retired textile employee having worked for Leshner Mills.He was a member of the Army National Guard.James was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Monroe and Frederica Tripp Thompson; His wife Ann Thompson, Brothers, Arthur Thompson, Woodrow Thompson; sisters, Evelyn Zumwalt, Jewel Yearty and Gladys Graham.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Reneau (Elton) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Kelli Herring (Frankie) of Kathleen, Ga., Kristin Wiggins (Devin) of Hawkinsville, Ga., Matthew McDaniel of Hawkinsville, Ga., Christian Reneau of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 2 great grandsons, Grayson McDaniel, Hudson Wiggins; sisters, Grace (Lem) Holland, Cochran, Ga., Pauline (John) Mobley of Eastman, Ga. and Lois (Jim) Sawyer of Roddy, Ga.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
