Mr. James Ryan Tomberlin, age 41, of Cochran, Georgia passed away on September 24, 2021 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Williams officiating. The family will greet friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Tuesday evening at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be held immediately following the service on Wednesday at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Ryan was born on December 30, 1979 to Rondal and Carol Tomberlin in Tifton, Georgia. He was employed with the State of Georgia as a lieutenant at the Cadwell Regional Youth Detention Center. Ryan was a member of the House of Grace Church in Cochran, Georgia and was preceded in death by his grandparents, B.L. and Mazella Bennett and William H. Bill and Alyce Rowan.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Amanda Grimsley Tomberlin of Cochran, Georgia; daughter, Emily Tomberlin of Cochran, Georgia; parents, Rondal and Carol Tomberlin of Nashville, Georgia; sister, Amanda (Frank) Barnett of Nashville, Georgia; father and mother-in-law, George and Toni Grimsley; sister-in-law, Greshian Humphries; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and David Brown and brother-in-law, Derrick and Tonya Grimsley of Leesburg, Georgia. Ryan is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
