Jamie Carolyn Phillips Shirley

Mrs. Jamie Carolyn Phillips Shirley, 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be held Saturday at Clark Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the graveside.  A graveside service will then be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Long officiating.

Jamie was a native of Ben Hill County and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.  She was retired from Leshner Mills.  She loved watching the home shopping and travel channels.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Alton Shirley; parents, Homer Phillips and Carrie Marshall Rowland; and daddy, Walt Roland.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas A. Shirley, Jr. (Sheila) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Robert J. Coleman (Beverly) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Steve Coleman (Rene) of Vienna, Ga.; daughter, Ellen Black of Macon, Ga.; brother, Roger Knight (Brenda) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Charlene Roberts of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
