Mrs. Janis Inez Howard Whigam, 66, of Hawkinsville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her residence.Funeral Services will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm with a Visitation starting at 1:00 pm until the service, with Rev. Jeff Waters and Robert Lancaster officiating.
Janis was a native of Hawkinsville, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. She was a secretary at the Eastman Housing Authority. Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Ramsey Howard and Chalene Howard Cross; Stepfather, Rev. Mobley Cross.

Survivors include her husband, Lock Wood Whigam III of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Lock Wood Whigam IV (Rebecca) of Eastman, Ga.; daughters, Diane Fountain (Michael) of Eastman Ga. and Sasha Whigam of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, Jimmy Howard (Cheryl) of Hawkinsville, Ga., Wayne Cross, Randall Cross, Terry Cross, all of Tennessee; grandchildren, Colby and Spencer Fountain, Lock and Madeline Whigam.
