Jean Horne Alligood, 88, of Macon, Ga., formerly of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy Hogg officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:50 p.m. before the service at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Alligood was a native ofDodgeCounty and a member of the Pinehurst Baptist Church.She was a former member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church.Jean was a homemaker and a former member of the Hawkinsville Jaycettes.She was preceded in death by her husband, M.F. "Al" Alligood; parents, Dewey and Lydia Sapp Horne; brothers, H. D. "Bud" Horne, Jr., Ray Horne; sisters, Nova Faucett and Lois Hedden.
Survivors include a son, Max (Joy) Alligood of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Wanda (Rodney) Collins of Macon, Ga.; sisters, Ouida Brown of Dublin, Ga., Bobbie Hogg of Hawkinsville, Ga., Faye Mullis of Warner Robins, Ga.; 2 grandchildren, Shannon (Trey) Dickerson of Macon, Ga., Chad (Sabrina) Collins of Athens, Ga.; 3 great-grandchildren, Levi Dickerson, Josie Collins and Baynes Collins.
Flowers will be accepted or you may give to the charity of your choice.
