Jepty Truman Staples, "J.T.", of Warner Robins, passed away in his home on March 22, 2011 at the age of 74.J.T. was born in Dodge County to the late Samuel (Boss) and Myrtle Staples.He was retired from Robins Air Force Base Civilian Service and a member of Avondale Baptist Church.J.T. was predeceased by his wife, Mary Evelyn Staples, brother, Wilbur Staples, and sister, Betty Lois Staples.He is survived by his son, Hugh Staples of Hawkinsville; daughters, Pamela Farmer of Warner Robins, Terry Bentley of Hawkinsville, Sandy Staples of Cochran, and Rita Hester of Warner Robins; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. James Alexander officiating.Visitation will be held from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Clark Funeral Home.Burial will be in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery in Bibb County.
Pallbearers will be Don Alexander, Lynn Alexander, Bryan Lee, Marvin Owens, Ronnie Owens, Rex Roberts, Mathew Hancock and Gary Hester.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. in charge of arrangements.
