Jerry Orlie Price, age 81, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on October 21, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. A visitation will be held for Mr. Price on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 6:30p.m. - 7:30p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. Services for Mr. Price are private and will be held at a later date.
Jerry was born in Homestead, Mississippi and retired as a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Horseman's Association. Mr. Price was a supporter of the Hawkinsville High School football team and the University of Georgia where he played football and was also an alumnus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlie and Julia Price.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Olief Price of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sons, Jerry Price, II of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Chris (Connie) Price of Enon, Ohio; daughters, Julia Cutter of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Katherine (Michael) Barnett of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric (Amber) Cutter of Hawkinsville, Ga. and 17 other grandchildren. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, Ben (Barbara) Price of Hawkinsville, Georgia.
