Jimmy Lee Goodroe, 65, of Tifton, Ga. died Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Pulaski County, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Allen-Clark officiating.Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Goodroe was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at Lithonia Lighting Co. and President of IBEW Union at Lithonia Lighting.

Survivors include his daughters, Angela (Kelvin) May of Eastman, Ga. and Britney Kearce of Omega, Ga.; granddaughter, Elizabeth Rykard of Eastman, Ga.; grandson, Brad Balderston of Dublin, Ga.; two great-grandsons, Kaleb Lee Balderston of Eastman, Ga. and Zolen James Balderston of Dublin, Ga.; sister, Betty (Ed) McDaniel of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Joe Brown (Patsy) Goodroe of Tifton, Ga., Richard Goodroe of Perry, Ga., sister-in-laws, Kay Goodroe of Newnan, Ga. and Betty Goodroe of Hawkinsville, Ga.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Corey Sanchez, Eddie McDaniel, Glynn McDaniel, Paul Goodroe, Joe Brown Goodroe, Jr., Wesley Goodroe, Joey Goodroe and Tony Kearce.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
