Joanne Shirley Roberts

Mrs. Joanne Shirley Roberts, age 81, a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Atrium Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Maynard officiating.  A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm prior to the service.  Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and loved reading and crocheting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Iva Passmore Shirley; her husband James Wade Roberts Sr.; son, Mackey Langston; brothers, Tommy, Jim, Larry and Jack Shirley; and sister, Mary Smith

Survivors include her sons Alvin (Shellie) Roberts, of Hawkinsville, Ga. and James Wade (Tammy) Roberts Jr. of Elko, Ga.; daughters, Donna Cooler of Hawkinsville, Ga, and Kimberly (Ron) Knight of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Dorothy Graham of Eastman, Ga., Marjorie Busbee of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister in laws, Francis Shirley of Graniteville S.C., Janice (Ralph) Bovee, Charlene Roberts and Bert Shirley of Hawkinsville, Ga.; also left behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
