John William Adams, Sr. "Buck", age 54, of Hawkinsville, Ga. diedSaturday, July 25, 2009 at his residence.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Carter officiating.Burial will be in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Pulaski County.

Mr. Adams was a native of Colquitt County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith and was a farmer.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Adams and Royce Adams.

Survivors include his wife, Scarlett Adams of Hawkinsville, Ga.; one daughter, Latina Adams of Unadilla, Ga.; two sons, Adrial Adams (Melissa) and John Adams, Jr. all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Adams (Pat) of Pineview, Ga., Ricky Adams (Stella) and DeWayne Adams, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; four sisters, Helen Adams of Unadilla, Ga., Gail Henson of Moultrie, Ga., Betty Fountain (James) and Carolyn Christian, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mervin Anthony, Glenn Henson, Tommy Fountain, Chris Adams, Danny Dawson, John StLaurent and Alan Anthony.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
