John Curtis Conner
November 18, 1940 — November 28, 2020
Curtis was a native of Pulaski County and was a member of the Belleview Pentecostal Baptist Church but he attended First Christian Church of Perry, Ga.He was a salesman for the Brite Bill Body Works of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He worked for Blue Bird Corporation for ten years before going to Pennsylvania. He quietly improved organizations he joined. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, James W. (Buddy) and Lucille Barton Conner; daughter, Toni Davida Conner; sister Joan Yarborough; brother William Jabo Conner and a grandson, John Curtis (Buddy) Conner III.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Conner of Perry, Ga.; sons, John Curtis Conner Jr. of Hawkinsville, Ga. and James Clint Conner of Forsyth, Ga.; brothers, Russell Conner, Ray ( B.J.) Conner and Lamar (Smooch) (Mary Jo) Conner all of Hawkinsville Ga.; and sister, Jane (Lamar) Richardson of Pineview, Ga; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great- grandchildren.
