John Curtis Conner Jr.

Mr. John Curtis Conner, Jr., age 61, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away on October 27, 2022 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Services will be held at Clark Funeral Home at 11a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family may be contacted at 58 East Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.

Mr. Conner was born on January 3, 1961 in Leesburg, Florida. He had lived most of his life in Hawkinsville, Georgia and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Pulaski County. Johnny was a truck driver for Twin Rivers Land and Timber Company and a United States Air Force Veteran. He loved and lived life to the fullest and he loved gardening and to work and spend time with his grandchildren, horses and dogs. John could build anything with his hands. He was preceded in death by his father, John Curtis Conner; son, John Curtis Conner III; brother, James Clinton Conner and sister, Toni Davida Conner.

Those left to forever cherish his memory include his daughter, Donnis Brooke Pittman (Tony); grandchildren, Layla Giddens, Landon Giddens, Lilee Giddens and Rose Giddens; step-mother, Norma Conner; mother, Betty Evelyn Sapp Conner; many cousins, aunts and uncles; special friend for many years, Monica Talley.
