John William Hatcher, (J. W.),age 70, of Hawkinsville, Ga. diedThursday, January 1, 2009 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2009 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating.Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County, Georgia.

Mr. Hatcher was a native of Laurens County, Ga. and was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church of Hawkinsville, Ga.He was retired from Inland Container Corporation.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Sue (Mike) Cartmill ofVian Oklahoma; Lisa H. (Kelly) Neal of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Sons, Darrell Hatcher and Todd (Angela) Hatcher, both of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Grandchildren, Ryan Cartmill, Eric Cartmill, Bridgette Neal, Haylee Hatcher and Hayden Hatcher; Mother, Nora Lee Witherington of Dublin, Ga.; Sister, Sharon Robinson of Dublin, Ga.; Brothers, Roger Hatcher of Dublin, Ga., Phil Hatcher of Lenox, Virginia and Glenn Hatcher of Dexter, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Larry Allen, Nick Bovee, Marland McLeod, Shawn Robinson, Greg Entrekin and Dave Brock.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2008 in Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
