John L. "Cuz" Mays, Sr.

John L. "Cuz" Mays, Sr., 80, of Pineview, Ga. died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. William Glover officiating.

Mr. Mays was a native of Pulaski County, Ga.He was a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church.He was a retired civil service employee ofRobins Air Force Base and a United States Marine Corp. veteran having served in the Korean war.

Survivors include three sons; John (Amy) Mays, Jr. of Pocomoke, Maryland, Mike Mays of Warner Robins, Ga. and Leon Mays of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Daughter, Robin Fountain of Atlanta, Ga.; Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Wade of Warner Robins, Ga. and Mildred Williams of Macon, Ga.; Brothers, Homer Mays of Decatur, Ga. and Gene Mays of Rochelle, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2008 at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
