John Thomas Small

John Thomas Small, Sr., age 73, of Abbeville, Georgia died on January 24, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Funeral services for Mr. Small will be private and held at a later date.
John was born in Roswell, New Mexico on February 22, 1942 and lived most of his life in California and Georgia. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and also served in the Missouri Army National Guard and California Air National Guard. He also spent time in the hospitality industry working at hotels in California. Mr. Small is predeceased by his parents, Roy Thomas Small and Georgiana Oakes Small.
Mr. John is survived by his son, John Thomas Small, Jr.; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several other relatives.
