Johnnie Wendell Mixon
August 31, 1931 — July 1, 2019
Mr. Mixon was a native of Wilcox County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. He served as a Navy Veteran of the Korean War from 1951-1954.He retired as a maintenance supervisor for Heileman Brewery.He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.Johnnie was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Mixon; Grandson, Chad Purser, parents and five brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Karen (Tharin) Brown of Hawkinsville, Ga., Angie (Mark) Coody of Vienna, Ga.; grandchildren, Kelsey Brown of Atlanta, Kristen Giddens of Macon, Ga., Kaitlin Giddens of Athens, Ga., Kalab Giddens of Dublin, Ga.; brothers, Carroll Mixon (Wanda) of Abbeville, Ga. and David Mixon (Nancy) of Canada.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
