Johnny Thompson

April 6, 1951 — January 30, 2021

Mr. Johnny Thompson, age 69, of Eastman, Georgia passed away on January 30, 2021 at the Dodge County Hospital. Private services for Mr. Thompson will be held at a later date.
Johnny was born in Milan, Georgia on April 6, 1951 to the late Jack and Mildred Thompson. He spent two years at LSU studying drafting, designing and engineering. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having held the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Thompson was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church in Jasper, Alabama and past member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Bass Pro Association and Harley Davidson's Bike Club. Johnny was a retired mechanic and enjoyed carpentry, fishing, playing pool, hunting and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was known as a "Jack of All Trades" and could fix or build anything. He dearly loved his family and friends.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Tammy Thompson of Eastman, Georgia; son, Michael Shaine Thompson of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughters, Shannon Autumn Thompson of Eastman, Georgia and Brandy Lynn Thompson of Perry, Georgia; brother, Tommy Thompson of Warner Robins, Georgia; sisters, Jackie Burnett of Warner Robins, Georgia and Betty (James) Waldrop of Eatonton, Georgia. He is also survived by one grandchild, Ellie Thompson.
