Joseph Allen Calhoun, 82, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Will Archibald andRoyce Graham officiating.Burial will be in Spradley Cemetery in Unadilla, Ga.

Mr. Calhoun was a native of Dooly County, Ga. and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Talley Calhoun of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Jo Smith of Hawkinsville, Ga., Connie Harrison of Haynesville, Ga. and SonyaPopken of Warner Robins, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren andsister, Virginia Henderson of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Courson, Ronnie Courson, Brad Sirmons, Alton Calhoun, William Cross and Royce Cross.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
