Joseph Lamar Clance, 74, of Perry, Ga. died Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cox officiating.Burial will be private in Bowers Cemetery.
Mr. Clance was a nativeof Bibb County, Ga. and a member of the Holiness faith.He was a retired appliance repairman.
Survivors include his best friend and caretaker, Essie Lee Wilson of Perry, Ga.; sons, Patrick F. Clance of Woodruff, South Carolina, Shannon Clance of Milledgeville, Ga. and Joseph Clance of Kansas, Missouri; daughter, Mary Clance of Vero Beach, Florida; special nephew, Wayne and Bernice Carlson; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
