Joseph Dee Edwards

Joseph Dee Edwards, age 22 (and would have been 23 on Monday) of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 in Clark Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to be from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. before the service begins.  Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Edwards was a native of Bibb County, Georgia and a member of the Christian faith.  He attended New Life Church of God in Cochran, Georgia.  Joseph was loved by so many and he loved them in return.   He was the life of the party.  He had a heart of gold and loved his work.  Joseph especially loved his dog, Gio and hunting.  Joseph was raised in Danville and Hawkinsville, Georgia and attended Hawkinsville schools. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family.  Joseph didn’t meet a stranger.  Joseph had a big heart and was dearly loved by so many and will be missed.  Joseph loved life and worshiping the Lord.  He was preceded in death by his uncles; Bobby Lamb, Brian Floyd, Aunts; Joy Cofield, Serena Lamb and Grandfather, Benny Lamb.

Survivors include his mother, Angela Lee Edwards; father, Darrell Tunney Edwards, Jr.; brother, Bryan Edwards, Sister, Serenity Edwards; Grandparents, Bonnie Lamb, Darrell Edwards, Sr. (Lisa Long), Tobbie Burkhalter, (Michael) Burkhalter, Ann Miskimen and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
