Joyce Martin McLeod Dortch of Pineview, Ga. died Thursday, August 15, 2013 in the Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga.A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013 in the Pineview City Cemetery with Tommy Day Wilcox and McLeod Wilcox officiating.
Mrs. Dortch was a native of Pineview, Ga. and a member of the Pineview-Finleyson United Methodist Church.She was the retired former owner of the Pineview Peanut Company.She was a member of the Pineview Garden Club. Joyce was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Henry McLeod, Frank Dortch and a brother, Vernon Martin.
Survivors include sons, Bob (Lyn) McLeod , Jim McLeod and Paula McLeod, all of Pineview, Ga.; daughter, Pam (Johnny) Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, McLeod Curry, Robert McLeod, Laura Lynn McLeod (Brince Coody), Candi McLeod (Mat Cannon), Mart McLeod, Anna Grace McLeod, Bailey McLeod; great-grandchild, Brooklyn Cannon; sister, Louvenia Stewart of Montgomery, Alabama; sister-in-laws, Rose Wischkaemper of Decatur, Ga. and Jane Lou Faircloth of Brunswick, Ga.
Visitation will be at the residence of Bob and Lyn McLeod, Abbeville Highway from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013.
Donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
