Mrs. Long was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on June 14, 1951. She was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Corinth Baptist Church. Judy was a retired telephone operator having worked many years at ComSouth in Hawkinsville, Georgia.
Those left to forever cherish her memory include her sons, John Casey Hood of Hawkinsville, Georgia and William Larry Hood, Jr. of North Augusta, South Carolina; mother, Allene Simmons of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brother, John Simmons of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sister, Paula (Greg) Simmons Cook of Eastman, Georgia; Aunt and Uncle, Betty Jo and Johnny McCarthy of Cochran, Georgia and her grandson, Ethan W. Hood of Augusta, Georgia.
