Mr. Kelly Frank Belflower, age 70, of Roddy, Georgia died on August 3, 2024 at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 4p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Roddy Baptist Church with Mr. Rusty Stewart officiating. The family will greet friends from 3p.m. to 4p.m. prior to the service at Roddy Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Roddy Cemetery in the family plot. Kelly was never one to dress up, so please dress casual.
Kelly was extremely proud of his family. Kelly lived a full life of adventures from working with the southern rock bands of Molly Hatchet and Stillwater to racing cars to surviving river trips. When his daughters started school activities, he began carrying the Royal Kingsman marching band equipment then to a travel softball coach to the Twisters. His grandest adventures began when he became Papa.
Kelly was a well-liked and loved man, husband, father, and Papa. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Marvin Clarence Belflower, Sr & Rosa White Belflower, both of Dodge County. Brothers, William “Billy” Belflower, Sr. (Sandy) of Orlando, FL; Marvin Clarence Belflower, Jr. of Roddy, GA; sisters: Jane Boyd of Oxford, GA. Joyce (Charles) Goolsby of Roddy, GA.
Kelly is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah Belflower; daughters Tori Belflower and Lena (Dustin) White; Grandchildren, Cooper Belflower and Marceline White all of Roddy, GA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roddy Cemetery Fund, PO Box 115, Hawkinsville, GA 31036 or to your favorite charity in remembrance of Kelly Frank Belflower.
