Kenneth Theron Floyd, age 73 of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at his residence. A funeral service for Mr. Floyd will be held at 2p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Howell officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia.
Kenneth was born on August 21, 1943 in Dodge County to Obie and Dorothy Floyd. He was a member of Broadstreet Baptist Church and retired from Lithonia Lighting after 32 years as a painter. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Claire Mixon Floyd and his parents Obie and Dorothy Floyd.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Keith (Christina) Floyd of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Sandra (Earl Giddens) Horton of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Judy (Cortis Jones) Eagerton of Elko, Ga.; brothers, Curtis Floyd of Cochran, Ga. and Roger Floyd of Orlando, Florida; sister, Dottie (James) Bright of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother in law, Johnny (Deborah) Bryant of Baxley, Ga.; grandchildren, Jamie Horton, Heather McCullough, Hope Floyd, Ty Bennett and Jordyn Floyd; great grandchildren, Alisha Kersey, Michael Kersey and Aiden McCullough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
